Santa Rosalia Baja California Sur

A mining town. Extraction mostly of copper and gold by a French Company.

This church is a Gustave Eiffel design. Made of metal panels for Africa because of wood destroying white ants of that continent. Purchased by Frenchman LaForgue while in Brussels.  It was shipped to Santa Rosalia to satisfy his wife and others who wished for a church.
