Tasmania

The ferry ride from Port Melbourne was smooth going, and rough returning.  A pressure point wrist band advertised to help sea sickness was selling quickly. An ill lady in the restroom ask a friend if she would relay a message to her husband that she wished for a wrist band. The return message was, "he said you'll be alright in a few minutes".  No five dollar band!

Hiking over a low mountain pass to view wine glass bay was a short fun trekke. The only time I had no rain breaker and yes I got rained on, it was cold. Enjoyable nonetheless.

There is a small hut with a sign in log book, time and date of departing on your climb. You sign off when you return. Love the simplicity.

Speed signs state this a limit not a challenge! Love it.

If you visit stop by an animal care farm. Pet a Kangaroo. See a Wallaby. Do not try petting a Tasmanian Devil.

Love the restroom humor!
