RV Caught On Fire

While driving north on a Kentucky Interstate smell of smoke alerted we had a problem. MIrror check confirmed fire on the left side coming from under the restroom. A quick pull over and bathroom check confirmed the fire location. Rather than rush outside I discharged a fire extinguisher into the open stool with flapper accessing the black water tank. A second extinguisher discharged from the roof in the vent pipe. A third in to the water compartment from outdoors. Having sufficient extinguishers was essential. I have four total in my RV. One kitchen and three general.

Fire started in the storage floor above the exhaust pipe. A fire shield  was missing. Without the fire shield there is only wood plus a compartment plastic floor. This RV was serviced at Tampa Ford for transmission fluid changeout. The RV was damaged there. They did not disclose the missing fire shield. When questioned about length of extended  time for the transmission service I was told a drain pipe had discharged gray water due to rotten wood. Wood is not visible useless the fire shield is missing.
